IW TECH SHOP was born from a simple but important realization: where you live should not determine your ability to access quality products, technology, and modern conveniences.

Growing up and spending time in Mkhondo, I experienced firsthand the challenges that many people in smaller towns and rural communities face. Finding basic technology products and other essential items could mean limited choices, travelling long distances, spending more on transportation, or simply waiting longer to access what was needed.

Instead of accepting these challenges as normal, I saw an opportunity to create a solution.

In 2024, I founded IW TECH SHOP as part of IW TECHNOLOGIES with the vision of using technology and e-commerce to bring products closer to people. What began with a focus on improving access to technology has grown into a broader retail platform offering technology, fashion, home essentials, beauty products, and other practical items.

Our purpose is bigger than selling products. We want to make shopping more accessible, convenient, and inclusive for everyday South Africans whether they live in a major city, a small town, or a rural community.

I believe that access creates opportunity. For a student, reliable technology can support education. For an entrepreneur, it can enable a business to grow. For a family, convenient access to essential products can save time and money. These everyday needs are what continue to inspire the work we do at IW TECH SHOP.

As we grow, my commitment is to build a business that customers can trust one that prioritises quality, affordability, convenience, integrity, and excellent service.

Our journey is still beginning, but our vision is clear: to help bridge the gap between communities and opportunity by making quality products accessible, regardless of location.
